Personal observations on chatboxes/shoutboxes, Keep them to the front page only, loading on everypage gets overwhelming and annoying. Keep them at the top, but. . . it helps if they can be colapsed for those who are seeking a more descrete peek at forums - like from work, shhhhhhh. Otherwise put them at the bottom, but again, only on the front box. Now to my quesiton, how did you manage this? On our zetaboard we had to embedd the code to the chatbox in a forum description to achieve the above mentioned qualities, such as they are. Thanks |
